Holli brings over 20 years of experience as a paralegal to Pacific Patent Group, LLC. She began her paralegal career at a small personal injury law firm, handling everything from client intake, organizing case files and accounting, to conducting research and witness interviews. The majority of her legal experience has been obtained during her 15 years as a patent paralegal at Microsoft, with her responsibilities focused on providing support to patent attorneys and product group teams for U.S. and international patent filings and prosecution. These duties included U.S. and international docketing, preparing and filing PCT applications, instructing on national phase entry, handling of formality documents, preparing Office Action summaries for attorney review, performing data quality reporting and root-cause analysis, and conducting legal research. She successfully drafted and maintained U.S. and international filing and prosecution procedures for Outside Counsel firms, managed a cross-group Change Management team and conducted bi-weekly paralegal team meetings. Holli earned a Paralegal Certificate from the National Academy of Paralegal Studies at Seattle University and a Bachelor of Science from Washington State University. She resides in Carnation, Washington with her husband and two daughters. In her spare time Holli enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors, reading, writing and traveling.
Noemi started her legal career over 20 years ago as a legal assistant working on criminal and family law. The majority of her legal experience was spent as a Paralegal for Microsoft Corporation. Her responsibilities included workload balancing of over 80 Virtual Firm attorneys to achieve annual prosecution goals, assisted in managing outside counsel, and assisted in drafting and maintaining USOC Prosecution Procedures. Noemi was also involved in creating docketing procedures for vendors located in India, as well managing and mentoring them. Before taking on management duties, Noemi prepared and filed applications with the USPTO for in-house counsel, docketed incoming correspondence and provided support as a counseling team paralegal assistant. Noemi has received her patent paralegal certificate through the IPLegalEd course.
